our inboxes were cleansed of junk newsletters we can’t remember signing up to, another Star Wars film came out, and we had a royal wedding in the UK. It didn’t even rain on the day!
Of course, we also welcomed the release of Beamery 4.0. including Beamery Comply, which provides a compliance solution to GDPR. Alongside a host of workflow, performance and interface upgrades, Beamery 4.0 also brought an integration with our new ATS partner, Jobvite, who join our partner ecosystem.
Beamery 4.0 has been a major step forward for the platform. Two areas in particular have benefited from upgrades that significantly improve the in-app experience: Search and Filters.
Upgrades to Advanced Search
Beamery 4.0 introduces ‘bulk actions’ to Advanced Search. It means that users can now assign all candidates to a pool or a vacancy in one single action, or apply a global tag to all candidates that appear in their search result. This was one of our most frequently requested features, so we hope this makes a significant impact on your sourcing workflows!
Not only that, but we have also added a ‘Location’ option into Advanced Search. This means you can refine your search to candidates located in a particular place (who would have guessed!). This could be a city or a country. As it’s a partial text search, your results will update as soon as you start typing (that’s right, no more typing out ‘San Francisco’ in full). You will find the location field at the top of the filters panel within Advanced Search.
Upgrades to CRM Filters
We’ve enhanced our CRM Filters with a new ‘contains’ option. The ‘Title’, ‘Company’, ‘Location’ and ‘Keywords’ filters allow you to filter candidates based on a partial text search. Candidate results appear as soon as you start typing, useful if there’s a word common across multiple job titles, or a company with a very long name. It all helps to speed up your workflows!
Users can also set up a new default filter, which can be used to automatically exclude certain contacts from view in your CRM. For example, you can exclude ‘rejected candidates’ or contacts who have a particular status (until of course the default filter is removed).
More updates, upgrades, enhancements, augmentations, releases and additions to come from the #beamteam. Stay tuned.
