If you want long term hiring success, you can’t do it alone. Collaborative hiring is fast becoming one of the key components of the world’s most innovative companies.
It can be the difference between hiring ‘A Players’ and ruining your company. It’s something that we take pretty seriously at Beamery. We’ve thought long and hard about ways to improve collaboration, ways to lighten your workload and ways to make candidate engagement effortless.

Making smarter decisions: the argument for collaboration
Every hiring decision is huge.
The potential downside is massive whenever you pull the trigger: a bad hire can cost your company as much as $50,000!
Building a hiring process that is genuinely collaborative, making recruiting a team game, and involving different team members from the outset, will give you a range of diverse opinions on each candidate, and ultimately a more complete assessment.
We can’t guarantee better hires, but we can get pretty close. Here’s how Beamery’s latest feature release can help:
1. Automation: picking up the slack
Despite all your best laid plans, your team’s collaborative hiring efforts are often scuppered before they get going.
The sheer weight of admin work makes effective collaboration tricky, and makes nurturing candidates effectively nigh on impossible.
Our update to Beamery Recipes has been designed to tackle this.
Recipes are automated workflows that run in the background to take care of all of your admin and busywork. Simply pick a task that’s bogging you down, and specify a certain automated action to take care of it. This could be anything from changing a candidate status, assigning them to a colleague or adding them to a talent pool if they have certain skills.
“Timing is everything in recruiting, and Beamery saves us countless time, not only with sourcing, but with the dreaded admin work” – Sean Martin, Adgold
In our latest update, we’re enabling recruiters to use Recipes to deliver incredibly customised experiences to every candidate you interact with. You can now trigger personalised email campaigns to candidates whenever they behave in a certain way or hit certain milestones in your process.
For example, craft the perfect email sequence for candidates that have reached the screening stage for an Account Exec role, include variables for personalisation (custom candidate data from the CRM), and then trigger this campaign to be sent to every candidate that fits the bill automatically.
It’s the most perfect way of putting candidate nurture on autopilot, but actually making it more effective!
2. Getting your team on the same page
Our latest release give your team even more opportunities for collaboration.
Use @mentions to draw the attention of colleagues to certain candidates or ask questions, share notes and feedback, and set tasks or follow ups to make sure that nothing slips through the gaps.
Manage different user permission levels to keep sensitive material private, (e.g. restrict the access of hiring managers to certain notes or candidates).
iii) Staying up to date
Our all new notifications panel will keep you up to date with all the important stuff.
It provides a high level overview of your database and recruiter activity, and makes sure that you know exactly what’s happening at all times.
